  30.   So... I take it the only tool you have in your toolbox at home is
  31.   a hammer? Why do we need a screw driver, a hammer can do the same
  32.   thing, I can put a screw in with it...

  34.   Why do people insist that one language or another is going to "kill"
  35.   another? Java has its place, C/C++ have theirs.

  37.   Why does COBOL still exist? Why do people still use Fortran? Believe
  38.   it or not, there are still flavors of BASIC out there...

  40.   I seriously doubt that C and/or C++ will be disappearing off the
  41.   face of the earth anytime soon, and I doubt the Java is the "be all
  42.   and end all" of programming languages. Sun has done a heck of a
  43.   job selling Java, but then that seems to be their way... create a
  44.   standard then sell it hard.
